(St.Catharines, ON) – Beginning Sunday January 3, 2016 the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre will host a series of four music shows called Hear! Here! Niagara Music Series – featuring songs and stories of international and local artists hosted by the Mark Lalama Trio with Mark Lalama, Rich Moore and Davide DiRenzo in the intimate Robertson Theatre.

The first show will feature Juno Award winner Marc Jordan – a singer-songwriter, producer, painter and newly appointed Songwriter Chair at Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre. Jordan has been writing songs for 40 years, has over 10 albums to his name and often blurs the lines between rock, jazz and pop music. Probably best known for penning the Rod Stewart hit Rhythm of My Heart his songs have been covered by the likes of Joe Cocker, Molly Johnson, Josh Groban, Chicago and Cher. Jordan is also the husband of singer Amy Sky.

St. Catharines’ Whitney Pea will also be on the bill Jan. 3. Her
harmonic and expressive music often connects the listener to nature and the human heart.

These shows will be happening one Sunday per month for the next four months.

The schedule for this series is as follows:

Sunday, Feb. 14 Kevin Breit and Beth Moore
