A year and a half later, in November 1996, during a seven-date tour, the Sao Paolo five-piece celebrate, together with the French fans, the success of « Holy Land », an ambitious concept album, which made Heavy Metal history through its power metal anthems mixed with symphonic arrangements and tribal rhythms.

This beautiful journey continues in the years 1998 and 1999, during which Angra play everywhere in France, at festivals like Printemps de Bourges (with Dream Theater), Eurockéennes de Belfort (with Metallica) and in a sold-out Zénith de Paris. During this memorable show, Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden would even join them on stage !

Angra have decided to celebrate this anniversary with the French audience, with an exceptionnal show, which will take place on September 23rd at l’Olympia, Paris. This night will be divided in two parts : one during which they will perform « Holy Land » in its entirety, and another set covering the highlights of their rich catalog. This show will also be a tribute to Andre Matos, who passed away in june 2019. For this occasion, the guitar player Kiko Loureiro (who played in Megadeth for ten years) will be temporarily back in ANGRA !

Moreover, Rafael Bittencourt (guitar), Felipe Andreoli (bass), Bruno Valverde (drums) and Marcelo Barbosa (guitar) will introduce their new singer, Alirio Netto, known for performing with Queen Extravaganza, the official Queen tribute band, curated by Roger Taylor.
