I lived in Lake Forest, Illinois when I was a kid. I remember when you guys started around the area. I’ve listened to you all my life. Just saw you and the Doobies at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte. Loved it! It was just great. Keep it up. Thanks!

What a fantastic article!! These guys are the best at what they do!! To stay together for 50 years is amazing. Amazing is not even the right word. They do the unimaginable. To start together from the 60’s and not exactly sure where it’s going to go from there is challenging enough. To build relationships with each other and keep it going through the worst of times and the best of times is what it takes to be a family or friends or better yet “CHICAGO”. I love music and to listen to their songs brings back so many memories of family, friendships, relationships… Music is not just words – it’s feelings that are created by people with talent! Creative Talent that grows. I saw them in Long Beach – Feb 2017 and drove from Cal to Phoenix to seen them in May 2017. I bought the VIP meet and greet tickets for the Phoenix concert because they take the time to do this for the people. They don’t have to but they do. Their shows are breathtaking. Their music is different than anyone else’s. That is why I have listened to them for decades. Their music is everything. Rock, Jazz, Classical all mixed together to have the best sound ever!! Congratulations to the group being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and to Robert and Jimmy for their achievements in the Songwriters Hall of Fame in May 2017 – Hats off to you!! You guys rock!! #1 Forever. Thank you for the sacrifices and contributions!!! Great interview Lee 🙂 Love you all.
