Press release –
Rising country artist Gracee Shriver delivers humor, attitude, and a sharp dose of reality with her new single, “Missed the Boat.” The playful track pairs her quick wit with country roots, turning larger-than-life personalities into a cheeky, relatable anthem.
Inspired by conversations among friends and one unforgettable moment, the song came together effortlessly and quickly found its lane.
“We were floating on a dock at a writer’s retreat when a group of guys came cruising by on their boat,” says Gracee. “We started laughing about all of the personal experiences we had with snotty guys that like to brag about what they have. I grew up in a family that cracked a lot of jokes so songs like this feel natural for me. It was more of a song to shoot down the big egos these guys have!”
With its blend of sass and sincerity, “Missed the Boat” underscores Gracee’s knack for turning sharp observations into songs that connect, spotlighting the personality and humor at the core of her artistry.

ABOUT GRACEE SHRIVER
Gracee Shriver is a rising country artist known for her low, raspy voice that sets her apart as one of the most unique female vocalists in today’s scene. Pairing that signature sound with her bold Boujee Boot Country style – complete with eye-catching, over-the-top studded boots – Gracee has created a brand as distinctive as her music, earning recognition and turning heads wherever she goes.
Originally from Oklahoma, Gracee began singing at nine and played her very first show in front of legendary Garth Brooks. Soon after, she picked up guitar, writing songs rooted in faith, family, and real-life storytelling. In 2019, she earned national attention as a Top 16 finalist on NBC’s The Voice, impressing both the judges and country fans across the U.S.
Since then, she’s taken her music to the national stage – performing at venues across the country, opening for major acts, appearing at CMA Fest in Nashville, and playing Rock the Country Festival. Along the way, Gracee found guidance from rockabilly icon Wanda Jackson, who inspired her fearless approach to sequins, fringe, and unapologetic style, as well as her single “Yodel-Ay-He-Hoe.”
Her music has been recognized by Oklahoma’s Women of Country, spotlighted by CMT in Belmont’s Country Showcase, and her song “Living Proof” debuted on WSM’s Grand Ole Opry Radio.
Gracee’s single “Pretty Psycho” is out now alongside its official music video, introducing the next chapter of her artistry. The track leads into her debut Pretty Psycho EP, set to release June 26th. This project encapsulates Gracee’s witty and detailed storytelling, paired with her signature raspy vocal spunk, further proving that Boujee Boot Country is more than a look – it’s a sound and a story fans won’t forget.
