Formed in Tokyo in 2002, Crystal Lake is a powerhouse five piece whose sound fuses hardcore aggression with metalcore precision, all while weaving in infectious melody and atmosphere.
Known for their explosive live shows and unrelenting energy, the band has built a massive international following, transcending borders and language through sheer intensity and emotion.
Now entering a bold new era with vocalist John, Crystal Lake has joined forces with Century Media Records to carve out the next chapter of their story. Their forthcoming album, long teased since signing with the label in 2024, represents one of their most ambitious undertakings yet.
Titled The Weight of Sound, the record unites a stunning lineup of guest vocalists from across the heavy music spectrum, including Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), David Simonich (Signs of the Swarm), Taylor Barber (Seven Hours After Violet), Myke Terry (Fire From the Gods, Volumes), and Karl Schubach (Misery Signals). It is poised to be a defining release in Crystal Lake’s ever evolving journey.
