On May 21, 2025, fans packed Classic Bowl Mississauga for a memorable night as Helix marked their 50th anniversary with a special unplugged pre-show event for the 8th annual McBowl Concert Series. Frontman Brian Vollmer, joined by bassist Daryl Gray and former guitarist Sean Kelly, delivered stripped-down versions of Helix classics alongside personal stories and reflections from the band’s storied career. The intimate setting gave longtime fans a rare glimpse into the history and heart of one of Canada’s most legendary rock bands.
