Press release –
Canadian hitmaker Jamie Fine had a busy 2025 with an incredible run of headline dates across Canada and South Africa and finished the year alongside her good friend and ‘ Body’ collaborator Shawn Desman on a Canadian Tour. Following the single ‘homesick’ which has steadily climbed the radio charts, Fine gives fans more new music with “made it to the moon.”
Fine’s song, “made it to the moon,” is a vulnerable reflection on loss and mental health. Written after the passing of her uncle, the track’s candid lyrics address his struggle with mental health. Speaking to the song, she says “‘made it to the moon’” is a song about my Uncle who passed away last year. He really struggled emotionally and candidly. We don’t know if he ever really found calmness or happiness in his life. I wrote this song for him, not knowing fully what I believe in, but hoping that wherever he is now, he’s found the peace he never really could in this life. I used the moon as a metaphor for the place I hope he found.”

Fine will embark on her first headlining U.S. tour kicking off at the end of February. The tour will take her to Seattle, Chicago, LA, NYC and so much more. Once the tour wraps in April, she will prepare for her wedding this spring. 2026 is gearing up to be a monumental year for the artist with even more to come.

ABOUT JAMIE FINE:
Ottawa-born singer/songwriter Jamie Fine uses her music to inspire audiences to explore emotions we all feel but often struggle to express—ranging from anger and isolation to joy and connection. Her unique ability to convey intense emotion is her superpower. For Jamie, music is deeply personal: “I write music for me—it’s cathartic. It helps me process my experiences.” Releasing music, she admits, feels vulnerable: “The safest place in the world is in my head. Sharing my music is like opening that space to others, aiming to create a safe place for them to explore their own emotions.”
Jamie values unfiltered, honest conversations with family, friends, and her audience: “Real connections feed my soul like writing and performing.” Time with loved ones keeps her grounded. A four-time Juno nominee, Jamie’s music has over 100 million global streams. Her hit single “If Anything’s Left” reached Platinum status in Canada and Double-Platinum in South Africa. With nearly 1.5 million followers worldwide, fans are drawn to her energetic personality, quirky humor, and openness. As her audience grows, Jamie’s goal remains to create inclusive, emotional spaces through her music.
