Press release –
Fresh off a plane from performing in Ireland, two-time JUNO Award-winning Oji-Cree artist Aysanabee (pronounced Ace-in-abbey) announces his forthcoming Timelines EP, out March 20th on Ishkōdé Records, and shares the new single “Dream Catcher (Timelines Acoustic)” – an acoustic version of the final track from his critically acclaimed 2025 album Edge of the Earth.
The Timelines EP features stripped-back, reimagined songs drawn from across Aysanabee’s three releases – Watin (2022), Here and Now EP (2023), Edge of the Earth (2025), including “Nomads (Timelines Acoustic)” which he released on November 4, 2025, to mark the 3rd anniversary of his breakthrough debut LP Watin.
This recording approach reflects how many fans first discovered his music in the early days of his career, when he played hundreds of shows across Canada and around the world armed with only his guitar, his voice, and his stories. Now, fans will be able to connect with those memories whenever they want.
Following an epic, two-part, first-ever Canadian headlining tour in 2025, Aysanabee will hit the Ontario highway this April for a run of intimate acoustic performances in support of the Timelines EP. Tickets are on sale at www.aysanabee.com.
Dream Catcher (Timelines Acoustic),” the closing track of Edge of the Earth, is a sonic journal entry that captures the tension between doubt and determination. On top of guitar, piano, and synth lies Aysanabee’s unmistakably raw vocals, threading together reflections on growth, endurance, and the act of dreaming despite uncertainty.
“It’s wild to have written this song from a place of dealing with imposter syndrome. But to go from stage to stage and play this song to rooms full of attentive people swaying, connecting and relating was in some ways a revelation,” Aysanabee shares. “We are all just here for a moment, trying to make sense of the time we are given, and those moments I have been given from the audience during this song have helped me unravel a little bit of that mystery for each time. I hope this stripped-back version gives my fans a more intimate look at my process after they have given me so much.”
