Press release –
Dream-pop artist MIINA is hitting the road once again, dusting off her beloved vintage tour bus, a 40-foot Greyhound powered by recycled veggie oil, for a 20+ Canadian date tour. Today, she officially announces the tour in support of her debut full-length album, Where The Light Goes, arriving independently on March 20, 2026. Alongside the tour announcement, MIINA also shares the stunning new video for her latest single “Live My Life on Holiday,” which is currently featured on SiriusXM’s North Americana “Unplugged North.”
The tour will begin and end in British Columbia, with additional stops across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. Joining MIINA on the road as a special guest is her longtime friend and acclaimed songwriter Dana Sipos.
“Dana and I go way back – we’ve been part of the same music circles for years – so I’m beyond excited to share the stage with her as she brings her beautiful new album Golden Molten into the world,” MIINA says. “Having her join me and the band during our set makes these shows feel truly special. I can’t wait to bring my debut album to life alongside such an inspiring lineup of musicians.” More information, including full tour dates, can be found below and at www.miina.band.com.
What’s The Story about “Live My Life on Holiday” Official Video?
MIINA explains that the video was created by “playing with light, movement and slow motion to create something dreamy and cinematic,” allowing the team to explore texture and motion in a way that feels “almost like stepping into a dream,” adding that “of course, there are dogs in it, which makes everything instantly cooler.”
Director Matt Gladman of Keywork Productions notes that the video marks his fourth collaboration with MIINA and continues their shared creative approach of beginning with a simple question: “what’s around us, what’s available to us, and how can we use it to create powerful visuals that serve the song?” For “Live My Life on Holiday,” that philosophy led to an embrace of simplicity and spontaneity, resulting in a video that feels playful, engaging, and true to the track’s easygoing spirit.

What’s The Story about Where The Light Goes LP?
MIIINA’s forthcoming album is a journey through light and shadow, playfulness and urgency, grief and resilience. Each track invites listeners to feel deeply, think boldly, and move freely. The album celebrates the full spectrum of human experience—love, grief, joy, anger, and hope—offering moments of reflection, empowerment, and pure emotional release. It’s an exploration of connection, self-discovery, and the courage to stand in one’s truth, even when the world is messy, dark, or absurd.
Where The Light Goes features production from an all-star team including Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, Mother Mother), Erik P.H. Nielsen (City and Colour) and Gus Van Go (The Beaches, Metric).
MIINA’s sound is more than music; it’s a movement toward connection, care for the planet and a more open-hearted world. Having begun her musical career as the frontperson of Victoria’s Carmanah, Dream-pop artist MIINA continues her solo journey with the release of her debut full-length album, Where The Light Goes, due out March 20, 2026.
MIINA began her solo journey in August 2023 with the release of her debut EP, Slow Motion, an impeccable, multi-layered collection produced by Gus Van Go. The EP spotlighted singles “Hiccup,” featuring and co-written by acclaimed songwriter Lowell, and “Pressure,” both of which received extensive radio play across Canada, including ZONE Victoria, CBC Music, SiriusXM’s The Verge, X92.9 Calgary, X100.7 Red Deer, SONiC Vancouver and CHME Les Escoumins. Multiple sync placements followed, including CBC’s Allegiance and Être un Hilton.
Her career has also seen her grace the stages of some of Canada’s most beloved festivals, including Rifflandia, Kaslo Jazz Festival and Laketown Shakedown. Rifflandia Magazine writer Michael Luis captured the essence of her sound, writing, “MIINA is the sound of the sunlight cutting through the foliage. Everything is brighter, funkier, more danceable, but with love for the environment and human emotion.”
In addition, MIINA has opened for celebrated artists such as k.d. lang, Shakey Graves, Sam Roberts, Bedouin Soundclash and Moontricks. A captivating live performer, whether it be solo or with an accompanying band, she consistently holds her own alongside some of the industry’s most respected names. Her music builds community, with each performance a gathering of hearts, rooted in authenticity, compassion and shared human experience.
