Celebrating Canadian Songwriting
The Tragically Hip will be honoured for a body of work that helped shape the sound and cultural identity of Canadian rock music, while Loverboy’s Mike Reno and Paul Dean will be recognized for the songwriting partnership behind one of Canada’s most successful rock bands.
Leslie Feist will be celebrated for a distinctive songwriting career that has reached audiences both in Canada and internationally, while Roch Voisine will be honoured as one of the country’s most successful bilingual songwriters.
Additional performers and special guests are expected to be announced ahead of the ceremony, with further surprises planned for the night itself.
Watch From Home
Fans who can’t make it to Massey Hall will still be able to watch the celebration.
Presented in collaboration with Amazon Music, the ceremony will be livestreamed globally through the Amazon Music Twitch channel and the Amazon Music app, and will also be available through Prime Video in Canada.
The livestream will be hosted by Keshia Chanté, who will provide commentary, interviews with songwriters and additional background on the artists being honoured throughout the evening.
