A sold-out crowd packed the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, on September 14, 2026, for a memorable night of music featuring Hannah Harper and Madison Hughes.
Harper, who grew up performing bluegrass and gospel music with her family in Southeast Missouri, captured national attention in 2026 when she was crowned the winner of Season 24 of American Idol. Her heartfelt songwriting, powerful vocals and country roots have helped make her one of the show’s breakout new artists.
Joining Harper was Nashville-based singer-songwriter Madison Hughes, whose blend of country, folk, rock and Americana first reached a national audience during Season 22 of NBC’s The Voice. Hughes has since built a growing following with her original music and distinctive smoky vocal style.
Together, Harper and Hughes gave the sold-out Prestonsburg crowd a special night showcasing two rising voices in country and Americana music.
