(Bloomington, MN) – Shawn Mendes, a 17 year old Canadian born musician who rose to notoriety in 2013 when he began posting six-second video snippets of himself singing cover songs on the popular video sharing app Vine was at the Mall Of America in Bloomington, MN. for a meet and greet and brief acoustic performance on 4/13/15. His debut album titled “Hand Written” also dropped last night during the event as well. He brought 3,500+ fans (mostly teenage girls) crying tears of excitement to the mall hoping to get a brief photo onstage with the young crooner. The event was hosted by radio personality BIG D, of the Twin Cities radio station 101.3 KDWB. The 6 song acoustic set filled the Mall Of America Rotunda with lots of adoring screams and applause. His fans were singing along out loud the entire time. Shawn Mendes is already a brooding heart throb and this is only the beginning for him.
