TORONTO — Finger Eleven are opening the mic to the artist community. The Toronto rock band has launched an open call for a vocalist to duet with them on “Last Night on Earth,” the title track from their latest release on Better Noise Music.

The band has made both an instrumental and a full-vocal version of the song available to download, so artists can record their part and put their own spin on it. There are no fixed rules on approach: singers can add new lyrics, rework the arrangement, or sing within the song as it stands.
Artists and fans can follow and share entries with the hashtag #F11LastNightDuet.

“I have no idea what to expect”
Lead vocalist Scott Anderson says the duet has been on the band’s minds for a while.
“We have always loved the idea of turning ‘Last Night on Earth’ into a duet. Putting the #F11LastNightDuet idea out to the artist community and leaving the creative boundaries open is key. We hope artists will bring their own style and emotion whether by adding lyrics, adjusting the arrangement, or working within the existing framework. I’m excited to hear the different interpretations. I have no idea what to expect, and that’s exactly what I love about it.”
One of the best-selling Canadian bands of all time, Finger Eleven are Scott Anderson (vocals), James Black (lead guitar, backing vocals), Rick Jackett (rhythm guitar), Sean Anderson (bass) and Steve Molella (drums). The band has passed 1 billion career streams on the strength of a run of international hit albums and chart-topping singles, including “One Thing,” “Paralyzer” and “Together Right.” Their most recent #1, “The Mountain,” also comes from Last Night on Earth.
On tour: UK this fall, across Canada in 2027
Finger Eleven head to the UK from October 30 to November 14, 2026, then launch an extensive Canadian tour in Thunder Bay on March 3, 2027.
