Press release –
Quiet Riot returns to Latin America in 2027 with the “Metal Health Latin American Tour 2027”, a run that will visit Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil. Presented by Top Link Music, the Latin American tour arrives in Brazil on April 24, in São Paulo, as part of the Bangers Open Air lineup.
The band’s new visit to the continent marks a reunion between the audience and one of the most emblematic names in U.S. hard rock. Released in 1983, “Metal Health” placed Quiet Riot at the center of metal’s explosion on radio, MTV, and arena stages, becoming a landmark album for an entire generation. The record made history as the first heavy metal album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
On stage, the band brings a setlist built to be sung out loud. “Cum On Feel The Noize”, “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)”, “Mama Weer All Crazee Now”, “Slick Black Cadillac”, and “The Wild and the Young” remain essential songs in a discography marked by direct choruses, powerful guitars, and the celebratory energy that turned Quiet Riot into a synonym for arena hard rock.
The current lineup features Rudy Sarzo (bass), Alex Grossi (guitar), Jizzy Pearl (vocals), and Johnny Kelly (drums), preserving the connection between the band’s classic era and its ongoing presence on stage. With Sarzo directly linked to the historic “Metal Health” period, the group continues to bring an important part of 1980s hard rock history to live audiences, now also reaching new generations of fans.
For those who lived through hard rock’s golden age, the tour is a chance to relive songs that helped define the sound of a decade. For those who discovered Quiet Riot later, it is an opportunity to see a band that helped pave the way for metal to reach an even wider audience. In Latin America, and especially at Bangers Open Air, the reunion promises to be driven by nostalgia, heaviness, and choruses that continue to cross generations.
