Famous for such songs as ” Mother Trucker” “Beside Me” and “The River“. BLACKSTAR WHISKEY have made a name for themselves by touring through the UK, USA and Canada. Billed with bands such as SKID ROW, SAXON and LA GUNS.
Wade has the unmistakable talent of a rockstar and an attitude unparalleled to none. Singer, songwriter and philanthropist, his mission is to ameliorate the devastating after effects of our national heroes through a non-profit organization called HEART STRINGS FOR HEROES. As president, founder and CEO, Wade states, “The purpose of this foundation is to provide healing with the gift of music, to our Military, Firefighters and Public Service Heroes, who have been injured in the line of duty”. HEART STRINGS FOR HEROES provides free instruments, such as guitars, to these BRAVE men & women who have sacrificed everything for our safety and freedom”.
Wade’s constant efforts has garnished some serious attention from what he calls “the Army of Support”. Bands and musicians such as KISS, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, ZAKK WYLDE, JUDAS PRIEST, and NICKELBACK (just to name a few) have donated signed guitars to the HEART STRINGS FOR HEROES foundation. To date, Wade’s organization has honored 17 heroes with guitars at 17 different events.
I suspect Wade’s war on helping our HEROES is far from over. The undeniable momentum is building like a Military F-15 Eagle upon take off. Fast and furious.
