Step Echo is a band from Niagara Falls, Canada, forming in 2010. Step Echo released its debut album JAGGED in 2011 with non-stop momentum : Song of the Year nominee at the Niagara Music Awards, indie band of the year by Image FM and four official HD videos.
The second album SONGS FOR THE BROKEN was released in March 2014.
The explosive original rock of Step Echo captivates with its riveting blend of raw hook driven hard rock, powerhouse vocals and passionate performances.
Step Echo recently went through a member change and outside the Niagara Peninsula with the addition of Toronto singer Basia Lyjak. The band is rounded out by guitarist Les Serran, drummer Brian Hamilton, bassist Aki Maris and rhythm guitarist Jordan Passfield.
“I’m really excited to have joined forces with Step Echo,” says Lyjak. “It’s a pleasure to work with seasoned guys with big hearts who are just as passionate as I am about music!”
Lyjak’s first show with Step Echo will be on July 31 in Port Colborne, Ontario opening for I Mother Earth and Junkhouse in front of thousands of people.
“It’s going to be amazing and I can’t wait for y’all to hear this new sound. We will be bringing it Friday night and (we are) excited…”
Step Echo will be heading into the studio later this summer to record a new album.
