Go Take the Future Radio Survey – Part One; active until October 9, 2018

Future Radio is a market research project conducted by Humber College students in partnership with Alan Cross aimed to develop a new terrestrial radio format targeted towards millennials and the next generation of radio listeners. In the digital age there is no question that overall radio listener-ship has declined, specifically with younger audiences. The outcome of our research will be the basis for a suggested new terrestrial radio format and detailed methods for its implementation.

Please find below the first of two surveys that will be used to gather primary research. At this level, we will gain information regarding where, when and how the younger generation are listening to music. It will also touch on preferred genres, personalities and music discovery.

The survey will be active from now until October 9th, 11:59pm Eastern Time.

This will be followed up with a second survey on voluntary participation from initial respondents. It will dig deeper into terrestrial radio and what specifically listeners value in a radio station.
