(Toronto, ON) – Platinum-selling rising star Thomas Rhett announced that his sophomore album Tangled Up (Valory Music Co.) is slated for a September 25 release. Lead single Crash and Burn, already a top digital download and smoking up the Country radio charts, sets the pace for his second album and sets Thomas Rhett apart from the rest of the pack. Billboard notes “if it’s possible to be retro, contemporary and edgy in the context of a lone country single, Thomas Rhett does that with Crash and Burn.”

“This album is something we’ve been working on for two years and musically, it really pulls from all the things I have been inspired by during that time,” says Rhett in a press release.  “The title Tangled Up comes from a lyric in one of the new songs and I think it’s a cool way to point to all the different influences that I have as an artist and a songwriter – from soul and R&B to old school country to rock and everything in between.  They are all in this record!”

To help celebrate his fans and invite them to join the album process, Rhett is asking fans to help choose the disc’s cover art. Four designs are now posted on ThomasRhett.com and the winning cover will be revealed in the coming weeks. To vote for the Tangled Up album cover, click here.

The CMA and ACM nominee established himself as one of Country music’s elite new artists with his debut album It Goes Like This (The Valory Music Co.), which spawned three consecutive #1 hits, making him Billboard’s first male country artist to do so from a debut album in over two decades. The most recent #1 GOLD-certified Make Me Wanna, showcases Thomas Rhett’s trademark swagger and was named Billboard’s “Best Country Songs of 2014.”  “At the forefront of young Country singers” (Tampa Bay Times), Thomas Rhett initially garnered attention as a gifted songwriter with credits including hits by Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean and Lee Brice and his “high-energy all the way” (El Paso Times) live show continues to catch the attention of critics out on the road.

He is currently direct support for Florida Georgia Line’s ANYTHING GOES TOUR 2015 this year and will perform at the Gone Country Music Festival in London, ON happening July 16th and Boots and Hearts Music Festival on August 9th. For tour dates and more visit, thomasrhett.com.
