Sammy Hagar’s Full Circle Jam Tour Kicks off Artpark’s Tuesdays In the Park June 4; Night Ranger Opens

Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony at Artpark on July 29, 2014. Their band, The Circle, will kick off Artpark’s Concerts In the Park Summer Concert Series on June 4 with openers Night Ranger.

You know summer is upon us when the Tuesdays In the Park Summer Concert Series at Artpark in Lewiston, NY is about to get underway.

Former Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar will kick things off next Tuesday, June 4, when he brings his Full Circle Jam Tour to the popular outdoor amphitheater along with opening band Night Ranger.

Hagar (aka The Red Rocker) last played Artpark on July 29, 2014. His band, The Circle,  includes bassist and ex-Van Halen bandmate Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham (son of the late John Bonham of Led Zeppelin) and guitarist Vic Johnson.

The Circle is currently on tour in support of their latest album Space Between released May 10th on BMG. The album debuted at No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 chart, making it Hagar’s highest charting album to date.

If the upcoming show is anything like his last Artpark appearance and looking at set lists from this current tour, fans can expect to hear a great mix from Hagar’s solo career and from his time with Van Halen. There will even be a few Led Zeppelin tunes thrown in to go along with new material.

Night Ranger formed in 1979 and gained popularity during the 1980s with a series of albums and singles. The band’s first five albums sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and have sold 17 million albums total. They are best known for the power ballad Sister Christian, which peaked at No. 5 in June 1984. Other singles include Don’t Tell Me You Love Me, When You Close Your Eyes, (You Can Still) Rock In America, along with Sentimental Street, Goodbye, Sing Me Away, and Four in the Morning. Their last studio album, Don’t Let Up, was released in March 2017.

Night Ranger is Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead & rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards) and Keri Kelli (lead & rhythm guitars).
