The Royal Foundry’s New Single “Okay?” Out Today – One Day Ahead of National Arts Center Live Stream Concert

Today. May 6, marks the day Edmonton’s The Royal Foundry releases their new video for the song OKAY? – one day ahead of their National Arts Center live stream concert #CanadaPerforms. OKAY? is the third single from their album WAKEUP WAKEUP – released in 2019.

Their NAC Live Stream is Thursday, May 7th at 6:00pm EDT on FaceBook LIVE. Live from their Beds. Inspired by John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s bed-in for peace. SPONSORED BY: Facebook, Slaight Music, the RBC Foundation, SiriusXM Canada and the National Arts Centre.

The band partnered with animator Hudson Munshaw (based in Calgary, AB) to create a really unique and creative music video that tells the story of two Astronauts in Space falling apart and ultimately being separated on two worlds. We follow their struggle with these worlds and the paranormal as they try find each other again. The first part of the story is told through the video and the second part resolves the story in comic book form which will be available for purchase as a digital download or a limited edition physical copy on the band’s website in the coming months.
